Job Description

Financial Accounting and Corporate Reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and disclosure notes 
  • Maintain accurate journal entries and allocations
  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Reconcile accounts and provide analysis for the organization’s financial transactions 

Support strategic planning initiatives
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Compute the valuation of business and financial assets using different models 

Support internal and external audit activities
  • Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit process
  • Respond to internal and external auditors on audit data, variances and audit findings
  • Implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls to prevent possible fraud and errors
  • Resolve issues and deficiencies arising from audit findings 

Process business transactions and reports using information technology tools: 
  • Responsible for AP, AR transactions and accruals
  • Ensure timely completion of all balance sheet schedules and bank account reconciliation
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
  • Preparation for financial and management reporting by business unit analysis
  • Reconciles billing system and accounting interface
  • Participation in ad-hoc duties and/or projects as required e.g. system or work process enhancements etc
  • Operate accounting information systems efficiently and effectively
  • Extract data and provide analysis for management using relevant accounting information systems or software
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, business activity reports and forecasts for management and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Basic accounting knowledge, ideally with ACCA, or diploma with a specialization in accounting.
  • Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) experience is preferred
  • Possess positive attitude, meticulous and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams at all levels
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in other Asian language (Malay, Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus
