Job Description

1. Build & execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging & audience identification.
2. Develop a website traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks to meet.
3. Manage art & copywriting professionals when needed.
4. Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, videos or HTML) that builds meaningful connections with the community.
5. Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
6. Continuously improve by capturing & analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices and then acting on the information.
7. Provide topics of discussion to maintain the natural flow of the message boards while being careful to avoid forcing discussions.
8. Monitor the user-generated posts on the message boards. 

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Media/Advertising, Journalism, Linguistics/Languages, Marketing, Business Studies, Mass Communications or equivalent.
2. Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, (Mandarin) would be an added advantage.
3. At least one (1) year experience in similar positions.
4. Demonstrate awareness in the latest changes in smartphone/tablet environment.
5. Proficiency in a multi-system environment.
6. Basic web-based applications skills including internet navigation and search experience on a computer.
7. Functional understanding in networking & mobile devices.
8. Knowledge in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, twitter will be an added advantage.
9. Ability to work independently and as a team.
10. Possess initiative with good interpersonal skills. 
11. Creative & curious to pursue knowledge.
