Job Description

• Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement).
• Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements.
• Produce outline designs.
• Conduct experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results.
• Test and evaluate theoretical designs.
• Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
• Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety.
• Modify design to meet requirements.
• Prepare product reports and documentation.
• Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods.
• Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
• Maintains system and product database.
• Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Interface effectively with Sales and customers to ensure implementation success.
• Interface with other company departments to ensure effective communications of new product development and continuing engineering activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Proven working experience in mechanical/electrical engineering preferably in Data Center or HVAC field.
• Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided engineering (CAE) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM).
• Strong proficiency in 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (i.e. AutoCAD, Solidworks or other).
• Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (i.e. Unilab, Mentor Graphics or similar).
• Knowledge in computer programming skills (i.e. Visual Basic, C++, etc.) is an added advantage.
• Creativity and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Technical writing skills.
• Project management experience including developing project plans and time lines, tracking project progress and expediting external action items.
• Demonstrated initiative in solving challenging problems.
• Ability to rapidly learn new concepts with little to no supervision.
• Travelling will be required.
