Job Description

  • Administering the Store (raw Material & FG) & Purchasing Department
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies required for the changing degrees of product demand.
  • Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon KPIs / Submitting progress report to Management.
  • Responsible for creating and improving SOP and Process Flow of logistics and procurement. Developing, maintaining & evaluating appropriate purchasing system, records, forms, checklist, procedure & policy, controls. 
  • Conduct the sourcing of goods and services that meets the purchasing requirement in terms of quality, delivery of lead time, pricing and negotiation with the vendor.
  • Responsible for Supplier Relationship. This includes working closely with the suppliers on long term cost reduction program, pricing, payment term & reliable term and conditions. Additionally, forge and maintain good relationships with vendors. 
  • Institute and maintain effective relationships internally and externally with all suppliers.
  • Able to handle export and import shipments. 
  • Monitoring / managing stock inventory levels.
  • SST Exemption application & Reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
