Job Description

• To deliver onsite technical support that involve installation, configuration and maintenance task around Unix platforms.
• Identify errors, technical problems an determine most suitable solutions to provide exceptional customer support.
• Report to senior management.
• Communicate and coordinate proficiently with customer requirements and provide long term process/service improvement plans.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems or relevant field.
• Possess at least 3 years of working experience in related field.
• Good coordination skills and able to take initiative.
• Must be able to travel within Klang valley to client site.
• Have good proficiency when it comes to operations management such as change management, problem management, incident management and etc.

• Must have excellent knowledge in AIX technologies such as PowerHA, LPAR/PowerVM, HMC VIO and Virtualization mainly on installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Commodity server hardware such as rackmounts, blade and enclosures.
• OS Systems (AIX, AS400, Linux).
• Virtualization Technology such as VMware/Hyper-V.
• Storage Arrays such as HP 3PAR, HP MSA, IBM Storwize, IBM DS, NetApp.
• San Switches (Brocade, MDS).
• Backup technologies (Commvault, TSM, Data Protector).
• IBM RHEL, AIX and Oracle Solaris OS, Clustering Product Certification, Storage, Backup and Middleware training or certification preferred.
