Job Description

• Handle sourcing, price negotiation, order follow up.
• Manage projects from initial request all the way through to shipment of
• finished product.
• Build relationships with vendors so that all prices and lead times are best first time of asking.
• Build and maintain good relationships with clients to become supplier of choice.
• Ensure stability of buying and selling prices, find ways to increase the profit margin.
• Proactively identify and qualify new product sources for all items.
• Monitor order tracking activities to meet quantity, quality, price, order
• specification inspection and delivery requirements.
• Assist in preparing the relevant documents such as cost sheet, quotation, sales contract and purchase order; maintain and update system data, if required.
• Work with factories, customer and Shipping team to ensure on time shipment.
• Work with Engineering team and Quality team to ensure product comply with US, European and other countries regulation.
• Source and review new supplier capability to establish long term strategic vendor management program.

Job Requirements

• At least 8 years of working experience in sourcing and merchandising
• Experience in Kitchenware/Household items a big advantage but not essential
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skill
• Strong project management skill by working with different stakeholders
• Dynamic, hands on and with "can do" attitude in a demanding fast paced
• environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detailed-mind, responsible, self-motivated, willingness to learn, willing to work overtime and under pressure, and good team player with positive attitude
• Fluent in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must
• Frequent travel to PRC is required
