Job Description

  • Answer inbound calls and direct calls to appropriate person, follow up on all inbound sales calls
  • Process customer PO and monitor timely deliveries. Maintain packer logbook, blanket orders and backorders
  • Make outbound calls to existing and new customers
  • Communicate sales promotion to current and new customers, via flyers, emails, etc
  • Develop new business via internet leads
  • Attend trade shows and follow-up on leads
  • Submit a summary Sales Report monthly
  • Complete customer inbound and outbound calls report for management review and give input, daily or weekly
  • Monitor resolution of customer issues/problems up to completion
  • Notify Branch Manager of any potential loss of business
  • Track all customer activity via GAP Report. Reviewing each customer’s sales history and reporting any change in activities

Goal & General Responsibilities
  • Report directly to Branch Manager
  • Maintain all current business
  • Responsible for customer inventory levels, custom and stock items. Inform customers of new products and benefits of using them
  • Develop new business for existing accounts
  • Develop new business from potential customer
  • Provide excellent customer service by maintaining relationship and favourable contacts with current and potential accounts
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance to existing policies & procedures


Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Added advantage: If can communicate in Mandarin language (to liaise with China factory)
  • Fresh graduates welcome to apply, with working experiences is added advantage
  • Preferable junior executive specialized in Sales – Retails/General or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of standard concepts, practices & procedures in the field or in related area
  • Proficiency in computer application: Excel, MS Word and some Database programs (added advantage)
