Job Description

  • Responsible in sourcing, negotiating, compiling & processing of material purchased for the best quality & cost. 
  • Improve and monitor vendors' performance in terms of pricing, delivery and quality. 
  • Identify, qualify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure suitability and cost effectiveness of purchase. 
  • Update & maintain product data in the system. 
  • Knowledge of importation process would be an advantage. 

Job Requirements

  • Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese) language with the confidence to negotiate. 
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in purchasing/buyer position. 
  • Able to prioritise own jobs & responsibilities calmly despite the pressures & the demands of the jobs at hand. 
  • Meticulous, resourceful and possess effective problem solving skills. 
  • Strong teamwork (able to put team interests before self interests). 
  • Well verse in Microsoft Office software
