Job Description

• Undertakes the role of a project manager / team manager
• To manage the overall work plan to ensure work is assigned and completed on time.
• To analyse, design, prepare specifications, flow charts and process diagrams, adhering to the policies and procedures defined, including complying with all regulatory requirements
• To work with programmers to debug or eliminate errors from the system.
• Participates in program development and testing to ensure that it performs as planned.
• To diagnose problems, recommend solutions and determine whether system requirements have been met.
• Responsible in responding to users' needs for access to services, support, information, and technology.
• To ensure compliance with IT Security Policies, IT Development Guidelines, and other policies.

Job Requirements

• Degree in any IT related field.
• Above 10 years of working experience in IT related field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent knowledge & skills in analytical, problem solving, programming and project management.
• Well versed in JAVA: JSP, JavaScript, Java classes and Servlets.
• Possess knowledge or experience in:-
  • Web Development (JSP, Javascript, Java, J2EE, Servlets, CSS, HTML)
  • Web Services (SOAP, WSDL)
  • Database (Universe, Ms SQL, DB2, JDBC)
  • User Interface (Angular UI)
• Knowledge in Insurance business and Business Process Management (BPM) will be an added advantage
• Able to direct project implementation and oversea overall development under tight schedule.
• Independent, proactive and with pleasant personality
