Job Description

• Deliver technical support and onsite field services.
• Perform installation, configuration and maintenance task (resolves around Unix Platform).
• Identify errors, technical problems and determine proper solutions while providing exceptional service and customer support (resolves around Unix Platform).
• Report and interface with senior management.
• Communicate and coordinate proficiently with customer requirements.
• Provide long-term process/service improvement measures and plans
  
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in related field.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of AIX technologies such as PowerHA, LPAR/PowerVM, HMC VIO and Virtualization mainly on installation, configuration & troubleshooting.
• Commodity Server Hardware (eg Rackmounts, Blade and Enclosures).
• Operating Systems (AIX, AS400, Linux).
• Virtualization Technology (VMware / Hyper-V).
• Storage Arrays (HP 3PAR, HP MSA, IBM Storwize, IBM DS, NetApp).
• San Switches (Brocade, MDS).
• Backup technologies (Commvault, TSM, Data Protector).
• IBM RHEL, AIX and Oracle Solaris OS Certification/ Training preferred. 
• Clustering Product Certification or Training preferred.
• Storage, Backup and Middleware training or certification preferred.
