About The Job

1. Recruitment
  • Mass hire for parcel delivery Drivers + Bike Riders (up to 100 headcounts within the next 2 months) 
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
  • Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches)
  • Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
  • Research and choose job advertising options
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations

2. Employee Relations
  • Consultative support for the resolution on a variety of matters including performance management and addressing challenging interactions
  • Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities; act as an employee advocate; help drive various corporate and division business initiatives
  • Partner to address gaps in performance including drafting performance improvement plans, written warnings, and facilitating the necessary communications to drive an effective outcome
  • Create guidelines, best practice research, and train to educate employees, managers, and other members of HR in how to mitigate and properly address behavioral issues in the workplace

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Organizational Psychology)
  • Around 3 years of more working experience as a HR Manager or similar leadership role
  • Solid experience with full cycle recruitment – sourcing, candidate screening, and evaluation
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
  • Knowledge of labor legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
