Job Description

• Lead a small team of 4-6 developers to organize and train them on the quality of the product.
• Be responsible for code review to maintain code quality and performance systems.
• Design elegant solutions and engage in problem-solving in building next generation web product.
• Design and develop performance-optimized & scalable PHP applications/RESTful API with MySQL databases.
• Collaborate with the tech team and product manager to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
• Participate in improving code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
• Likes diving into problems and successfully deliver results on schedule

Job Requirements

• At least 5+ years in web application development.
• Proven track record of delivering great products.
• Leadership or Management experience not required but preferred.
• Knowledge of RESTful API services. Solid understanding in object-oriented, modular programming PHP (5/7).
• Experience in using a modern PHP framework (preferably Symfony or CakePHP) and related functions (Twig Templating, Doctrine ORM, Composer).
• Experience in designing data schemas & integrity with SQL
• Experience in unit testing and code review (optional).
• Good to have some DevOps experience with CI/CD. Bonus if you’ve worked with cloud platforms like AWS.
