Negotiations Skills : Perfume &Cosmetic knowledge will be essential, knowledge on Food, Alcohol, Tobacco, Textile/fashion will be an advantage. Due to multi brands structure, the Commercial Manager have to good and passionate above brand negotiation such as Margin, Beauty Advisor, Additional Income, seasonal product and supporting.
Pricing Sensitivity: Good and pricing policy. Knowledge in the buying versus pricing strategy in order to gain Margin, higher purchase and link to promotion strategy.
Newness & Delisting Knowledge : Regular look into product newness. Market survey and acknowledge the SWOT among the competitor and bargain the newness regular into the store. Work very closely with product manager and study the product which facing extremely slow mover and plan to delist.
Profit, Cost of goods & Margin : He/she have to be very excel to Margin and Profits and control the promotion Term &Conditions, Events Aggressiveness and also product flowing.
Commercial KPI: Know the Commercial Manager /Operations KPI very well on traffic, transaction, buying conversation & penetrations, spending behaviour by customer profile and able to task in the capability in analysing the pricing & products preference.
Best & Slow Moving Merchandise: Good in 80 & 20 rules. Able to analyse the Stock on hand value and Stock month/week on hand of the best seller SKU/Brands and manager the Slow Moving Merchandise by working with Supply chain manager to adjust the parameter, also looking for bargain with Vendor to fund promotion, push money, gift with purchase, Purchase with Purchase, and good Visual Merchandising skills in locating the Slow and non-mover in order to move it out.
Marketing Plan: Working very closely with Operations in commenting, adding the marketing plan in order to maintain/assume the margin contribution and margin/discount impact towards the promotion.
