Job Description

• To assist the Head, Risk Management and Compliance in discharging his/her duties on the Company’s risk management and compliance functions, including governance and overseeing legal and internal audit functions.
• Lead and manage ongoing due diligence and assurance program such as surveillance monitoring, transaction monitoring and suspicious transaction report.
• Liaise with external parties including regulators such as Securities Commission Malaysia on Compliance and Risk Management matters, as necessary.
• To develop, review and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, company requirements and industry best practices.
• To perform Compliance Assurance (Review & Testing) as well as AML/CFT matters.
• Provide relevant risk management and compliance trainings including regulatory updates to internal staff.
• Implement processes to monitor and manage risks effectively.
• Develop risks related policies and procedures, risk limits and approval authorities.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a tertiary degree such as legal or has obtained the relevant accredited professional qualification in risk management and compliance.
• More than 6-8 years of working experience in risk management/compliance within the capital market industry or banking and financial institutions industry.
• Possess excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and to manage stakeholders. 
• Possess analytical skills, critical thinking and is detail oriented.
