Job Description
We are looking for a talented multimedia designer with a good eye for design. Meaning at this point in your career, you should already have an idea of the visuals you're tasked to create. Don't worry though, we'll still provide briefs!
You will be mainly assisting our Creative Director in the execution of his ideas based on the client's needs. Your most important skillsets consist of working with vectors, photoshop, and after effects. We won't expect you to do 3D or coding, but once in a blue moon you will be tasked to update any landing pages or websites if necessary via an easy to use and flexible website editor called Webflow.
You won't be bothered with ideation meetings (yay) but will instead be required to solve visual problems on your own (E.g. If the client says they want a really long title to appear big on screen and it doesn't fit, then feel free to give an alternate example where you fit the title in two lines instead. Bravo!) We feel that independent thinking and problem solving in design sets you apart from other designers even if they can design better.
What is the work flow like?
Being a multimedia designer, it's hard to keep track of your work with a rigid schedule, especially when you switch between different tools. We will plan deadlines for you, with a daily progress check up. Your KPI is evaluated based on how often you land the deadlines, not the check ups. Woohoo!
Our office is based in Petaling Jaya but as for now we are a work from home company as we don't want to catch anything. Once the vaccines are out it should be easier to move back to the office, fingers crossed. Enjoy working in your underpants while you still can.
