About The Job

 We are building a team of digital experts who have a strong desire to challenge themselves and their peers to build better digital experiences for our clients. 
The primary focus will be the conceptualize and create interface layout and design, visual design, interaction design and establish visual guidelines. As a UI designer, you will work across multiple graphic software platforms and utilize a diversity of skill-sets to visually communicates the interface that ensures adherence to UI principles, Brand standards, voice and content strategies. You will take a active role in our UI practice and work alongside UI, SEO and strategy experts. You will also participate in user testing, analytics studies to understand the user experience and strategies. Strong knowledge of modern website design, UI is imperative with front end and back end development understanding a plus.

As a UI Designer, you will create inspiring and challenging user interfaces for our clients. You are responsible for leading the visual and design elements of digital interfaces. Be involved in planning through to implementation— including UI design, creation of prototypes/mock-ups, and to come up with the best creative solutions achievable within budget. 

Success in this role will be the ability to create and produce strong visually communicated interface which closely maps with the user experience across any digital platforms or interface. Working closely as a team with the copywriters, designers and the tech team (from Solution Architect to developers), you are responsible for seeing the interface design through the design process to final sign off. 

You must be able to work adhering to Brand guidelines and show understanding and relevance to the target market. Being able to communicate and get buy in on your ideas to both colleagues and clients is essential. Design is your passion and so you need to seek creative inspiration from many places and share insights, innovation and ideas with your colleagues. 

Job Requirements

Knowledge Skills & Competencies
  •  At least 2 years of digital design experience, with demonstrated UX/UI skills represented by a portfolio of work. 
  • Super attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects. ·        Passion for social media at the brand level and interest in the new age of branded content. ·
  • Ability to work on a team, sit in meetings, and communicate closely with others, sometimes during off-hours. ·         
  • Additional experience in motion graphics and prototyping is an asset. ·         High level of proficiency with Adobe suite. ·         
  • Experience in partnering with project managers and development teams to produce assets for development and documentation. ·         
  • Firm understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and image optimization techniques, HTML5 and CSS. ·         
  • Stay up-to-date with current design trends, techniques and processes; seek out and recommend new best practices. ·         
  • Super attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects. 
  • Passion for UI and interest in the new age of user interface design.  Experience with presenting to and communicating effectively with clients  Additional experience in motion graphics is an asset
