Core Responsibilities
The Senior Digital Strategist’s core responsibilities include:

Understand
  • Identify and understand your client’s business and communication objectives. Recommend Key Progress Indicators (KPI’s) and a strategy on how to achieve them.

Research
  • Identify and understand consumer behaviours and trends for your client’s business, industry and respective consumers.

Solution
  • Succinctly articulate and communicate a strategic direction that will guide the key stakeholders, internally and externally.

Present
  • Craft compelling presentations for a client based on your strategic direction.

Consult
  • Ability to play an advisory role within the context of our clients’ business to drive successful outcomes.

Report
  • Analyze results of any initiative that measure results vs. objectives and provide recommendations for future initiatives.

Optimise
  • Proactively identify aspects of a proposed strategy or execution that could be improved upon.

Initiate
  • Seek to advance GrowthOps Strategy practice by identifying opportunities for growth be in within the context of our clients’ business or for GrowthOps as a business.

Required Knowledge
Applicants of the Senior Digital Strategist should have either experience or a current understanding of the following:

  • Experience developing content strategy.
  • Experience with effectively utilizing social media and other content platforms and functions.
  • Experience using Google Search Tools for insight and research (Google Search, Display or Analytics certifications are a bonus).
  • Experience using Web Analytics Tools: Google Analytics /or other.
  • Experience using Social Analytics Tools: Social Bakers or other.
  • Experience using Web listing tools: Meltwater or other.
  • An understanding of basic brand communication frameworks and how to position products and services.
  • An understanding of CMS systems and how to leverage them to deliver personalized web experiences.
  • An understanding of user experience principals in order to deliver robust ecosystem strategies.
