Job Description

An opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join our Client Services team at GrowthOps Kuala Lumpur.  Individuals in this position must have the ability to maintain the broad vision required for overseeing an account, including strategic thinking and execution from beginning to end, plus supporting the business lead in identifying business opportunities to meet business targets. 

Job Requirements


Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Account Director to drive revenue growth for clients in your portfolio
  • Develop a detailed understanding of GrowthOps’ service offering, be able to identify opportunities and contribute to presentations and pitches to the client.
  • Manage key client relationships and drive delivery and execution for digital projects across all of GrowthOps areas.
  • Develop client documentation including proposals, briefs, contact reports, account plans and competitive reviews.
  • Interrogate client briefs (brand truths, reasons to believe), writing agency briefs (working with the Strategy team to identify consumer insights and proposition), briefing in and reviewing work before presenting to client.
  • Attending client meetings, present creative work, campaign and activity reporting, and to review and approve creative and technical work.
  • Proactively drive account planning for future initiatives (research, insight, analytics), client development to grow revenue where possible.
  • Work collaboratively with the strategy team members to deliver outstanding results for your clients.
  • Act as an escalation point internally and externally for client operational issues and mitigate issues.
  • Monitor and control the client’s budget and ensure internal profits are met. Ensure all cost estimates are signed-off and billed in a timely manner.
  • Keep abreast of digital industry developments, launches and client industry competitor activity to keep yourself and client informed of latest trends and developments.


Knowledge Skills & Competencie

  • Minimum of 3 years Account Management experience ideally gained within an digital agency environment.
  • Existing AM with 1-2 years of digital background (with ATL experience is a bonus)
  • Currently senior AE or junior AM.
  • Currently holding a Project Exec/Project Manager role.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese language is added advantage for the role.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize well.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of working in an agency environment.
  • Previous experience in client facing role is desired.
  • A passion and interest in digital.
  • Knowledge of brands and marketing communications.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years Account Management experience ideally gained within a digital agency environment.
  • Candidate with lesser years will be considered for Account Executive role.
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational background.
