About The Job

  • Able to handle phone calls, Facebook instant/public messages, and emails during the stated normal and special working hours during shifts in a professional manner, especially during emergencies
  • Must be responsible and understand that picking up all emergency calls during late hours is vital
  • Able to formulate action plans for customers on a case by case basis to respond to customer demands
  • Able to cope with operational requests and communicate effectively with fleet team to coincide cases that affect customer bookings
  • Provide daily reports to Head of Customer Experience and/or assigned manager / team leader
  • Be able to drive to deliver replacement car to customer if necessary for rare cases of emergencies when fleet assistant is not able to perform

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • Possess valid drivers licence
  • Able to operate a smartphone alongside lifestyle and productivity apps (Waze, Google Maps, WhatsApp, Slack, Facebook Messenger)
  • Able to manage time and follow instructions well
  • Able to handle stressful situations and respond professionally in a calm and composed manner
  • Comfortable with making decisions with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and analytical
  • Responsible individual that is able to empathise with customers
  • Able to manage time and tasks systematically especially tasks that require following up
  • Passionate about helping people and enjoy communicating
  • Able to converse in Mandarin would have a huge advantage! 
  • Good command of Mandarin, English (writing and speaking) and decent command of Malay

GoCar Malaysia is an on-demand car sharing platform that allows you to rent a car by the hour or day via the GoCar app. As an alternative to car ownership, we are on a journey to transform the way we think about transportation to make Malaysia greener and smarter.

GoCar was established in 2015 on two simple notions — to provide flexibility to rent a car and make owning a car as an option in Malaysia. In 2016, GoCar was acquired by Mayflower Car Rental Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Warisan Tan Chong Holdings Berhad, to scale its fleet and expand its service nationwide.

Since 2017, GoCar have been offering various car models in its fleet to cater to different types of road trips, such as sedans, crossover SUVs, MPVs, and pickup trucks. Currently, there are GoCars available at over 300 locations across 7 states in Malaysia: Selangor, Wilayah Persekutuan, Kedah, Johor, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, and Perak.
