We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Accountant (m/f) to join the awesomeness of GSG in our office in Kuala Lumpur. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:
- Be responsible for entities accounting (debtors, creditors, bank, provisions, etc.), including monthly closing per MY GAAP
- Perform weekly payments and cost reconciliations
- Balance intercompany accounts
- Analyze receivables and follow-up on payments
- Prepare monthly cash flow reports
- Work on the year-end closing and finalize it with our internal and external auditors & tax consultant
- Support the Department of Finance with diverse tasks with a focus on accounting and finance
- Support the tax consultant with the MY SST declaration and prepare the WHT declaration
- Identify areas for improvement, lead improvement initiatives and process development in areas of responsibilities
Job Requirements
Do you have what it takes?
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
- Confident in working with MS Excel. Ideally knowledge of Microsoft Navision Dynamics 2018 (accounting system)
- Good structural skills with a strong problem-solving mindset
- Hands-on mentality and solution-driven personality
- Ability to work independently, flexible with a positive attitude
- Good knowledge of English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
