Job Description

• Curriculum Planning and teaching of the Music Odyssey curriculum. To perform the role of a Music Specialist as per assigned level / program type.
• Operation excellence – supports the daily operations and to maintain hygiene, health, safety, supervision and security standards for assigned environments as stipulated in the internal audit system
• Building customer relations – builds and maintains rapport and consistent personalised interactions with all children, parents, engages in daily communications with parents, maintaining strong collaborative parent partnership and service standards
• Continuous professional learning – participates and contributes to professional practices like learning circles, collaborative planning sessions to promote self-development and to benefit from the school collaborations and networking activities. Attends all required trainings.
• Networking and advocacy – serves as the Odyssey expert in your area of expertise, promotes and advocates the brand through class, school and community events as well as home-school partnerships and parent education programmes
• To assist in the classroom environment duties and full day-care duties as instructed by the Centre Director
• Teamwork excellence – able to work well with different cultures, races, abilities and academic backgrounds. Possess evident leadership skills and as well as teach ability in all areas.

Job Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in the Music field
• Excellent communication skills – spoken and written English
• Strong interpersonal skills, work with all levels of staff, professionals, parents and families, and community partners from diverse nationalities and cultures.
• With early childhood experience (children under 6 years of age), display the capacity to teach and the aptitude to interact and work with young children.
