Job Description

• Responsible for all aspect of the Purchasing function
• Responsible on purchasing requisitions, quotation enquiries, issuance of purchase order and invoicing.
• Submit to Management for approval before proceed to place the Purchase Order with supplier
• Placing orders and expediting deliveries with supplier on urgent basis
• To liase closely with customer service, sales & store for purchase planning, review inventory on hand and anticipate needs for all products from Vendor/ Supplier.
• Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies
• To monitor and forecast upcoming level of demand against stocks level system quantity against physical quantity to maximize business efficiency by submit the forecast to Management for approval.
• Monitor and follow up on goods delivery/ import shipment schedule with local and overseas Vendors for goods purchase and ensure that materials ordered are shipped and delivered as agreed SPD – Supplier promised dates.
• Follow up on the status of the order and monitor closely.
• To ensure Purchasing & import documents are properly filed on time and for easily retrieval by account and finance manager
• Key in and update document accurately and timely (purchasing invoice, stock adjustment, stock disposal etc. related) into system
• To ensure that all inter-stock transfers are documented and captured in the system.
• To maintain accuracy of product/supplier database
• Responsible in Managing Company Stock Inventory Management (Stock Adjustment in system, Checking stock lot/serial number & qty discrepancy and etc related)
• Responsible in products warranty claim and liase with sales support manager 
• Ability to handle urgent issues and meet tight deadlines.
• Perform any additional duties as and when assigned by superior

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably with Accounting backgrounds
• Required Skill(s): Negotiation skills, communication skills, time management
• Good attitude, patience and pleasant personality.
• Computer literate and familiar with Inventory computerised system such as UBS, Accpac, SQL and etc related
• Required language(s):Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia
