Job Description
- Cultivate and maintain strong media relationships.
- Work with the CEO to achieve organizational goals and objectives by administering the communications and public relations initiatives
- Strong knowledge and always be updated with industry trends affecting organisation and/or clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Liaise with department and subject matter experts to develop and implement effective market awareness program
- Develops marketing and pricing strategies by understanding economic indicators; tracking changes in supply and demand; identifying customers and their current and future needs; and monitoring the competition
- Serve as a first contact person for all media and/or public comments and queries.
- Monitor, analyze and report on PR results
- Identify and assess opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis
- Build and cultivate relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness • Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy, where necessary
- Responsible for content produced for public circulations (including digital)
- Lead the preparation and contents for events, fairs, conferences, webinars, etc as well as ensure all communication is cohesive with brand image.
Job Requirements
- Ability to assimilate, analyse and summarise written material quickly
- Min 8 years’ experience as public relations specialist/corporate communications or similar position
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism or similar relevant field
- Strong aptitude in presentation and public speaking • Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and execute successful public relations campaigns.
- A strong network of PR and media contacts would be highly advantageous.
- High level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
