Job Description

• Ensure the competitiveness of the company's raw material & packaging materials for production through negotiation with supplier for the optimum balance of price, quality and service
• Provide support for the Company's New Product Development & launch programs with marketing, R&D, Quality Assurance and Production department to ensure timely availability of the right component so that the products can be produced and introduced to the market on time
• Collaborate with QA Department to evaluate and recommend improvement program to develop vendors' skill
• Prepare report related to Purchasing activity as requested by General Manager
• Seek alternative source for top 20 high value items to provide continuously supply, to avoid single dependency on sole supplier and to obtain the most cost effective materials
• Participate actively in self-inspection programs organized by QA department

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
• Excellent communication skill in : English,Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia
• Candidate with multi-functional experience in Purchasing, preferably gained in manufacturing environment will have added advantage
• Good knowledge in sources of supply & market information on suppliers, commodities pricing and cost analysis 
• Fresh graduate encourage to apply
