Job Description

As a Back-end Web Developer/Programmer at FOUN, you will be required to:

Design and implement back-end services including database programming, server scripting, API programming and integration.
Be familiar with big data platforms, virtualization, and cloud computing.
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve various technical issues.
Provide post-launch maintenance and support to ensure responsiveness and performance.
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions
Brainstorm ideas and produce innovative work by following new and emerging technologies

Job Requirements

Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or its equivalent
More than 2 years’ experience in programming languages (PHP, MySQL)
Experience in these will be an added advantage: WordPress CMS, PHP framework (e.g. Yii), Common third-party API integration (e.g. Google & Facebook), eCommerce, Javascript, Jquery, or Node.js
Familiar with RESTful APIs, the JSON format, Git, and push notifications
Good interpersonal skills, a team player, and able to work independently
Analytical and a problem-solver, with a passion to explore and learn new technology
Quick to adapt with timely solutions on-the-go, and are able to deliver your work on time
