Job Description

About the Job:
- Liaise with contractors to ensure the design and quality are executed as per specifications and of highest standard.
- Source product and materials as per concept proposal, schedule deliveries and coordinate installations with the suppliers.
- Manage provided budget and find alternatives for maximizing budget effectively.
- Conduct site meeting with suppliers, contractors and client’s project manager.
- Manage and check information produced by subcontractors. Liaise with vendors and clients to follow-up on orders as needed.
- Be responsible for tender submission documentation; including managing technical drawings and schedule from the team
- Involved in all aspects of awarded projects from conceptualization stage to completion on site and quality control.
- Create mood boards/layout plans, attend meetings and present concepts to clients.
- Assist in department's ad-hoc matters as assigned by the Company.
Job Requirements
- Possess Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent
- At least 3 years of working experience in the interior design field
- Understand project programs and deadlines, possess up-to-date knowledge of current design trends
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
- Ability to work with 3ds Max and V-Ray is a bonus
- High standard of technical understanding and budget awareness for project costs, as well as broad knowledge of materials
- Able to understand architectural design standards, materials, rendering and the impact of these on interior and exterior design
- Able to work independently and also as a team player
- Detail-oriented, able to multi-task; with excellent presentation and communication skills
