Job Description
Are you a stickler for excellence in all you do? Do you have strong negotiation skills and a firm, no-nonsense attitude that can handle a variety of personalities? Have an eye for proportion, colours and textures? You might just be the interior designer we're looking for, who will be responsible for handling projects related to FOREFRONT's multiple office designs and renovations as well as our clients' sales galleries.

About the job:
As an Interior Designer, good people skills will be valuable, as you’ll need to liaise with contractors to ensure the design and its quality is executed to the highest standard as per specifications. Your job will involve conducting site meetings with the project manager, suppliers and contractors. Along the way, you’ll need to manage and check information produced by subcontractors.
Your job also covers producing all drawings and tender packages, including all schedules and technical CAD drawings. You’re responsible for working on all aspects of the project – from conceptualisation to completion onsite. This includes creating mood boards and layout plans, attending meetings and dazzling clients with design concepts.
As and when, you’ll also need to assist in the department’s ad-hoc matters that are assigned by the company, so flexibility is key!
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent
- More than 3 years’ working experience in the interior design field
- Understand the overall flow and deadlines of projects, possess up-to-date knowledge of current design trends
- Full proficiency using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with 3D Max and V-Ray is a bonus
- High standard of technical understanding and budget awareness for project costs; broad knowledge of materials
- Understand architectural design standards, materials and rendering, as well as the impact of these on interior and exterior design
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Possess excellent presentation and communication skills
