As a member of the Flux Operations team, you will be a key part of the no-hassle magic, as we continue to scale.
You will bring your affinity for numbers and penchant for accuracy to ensure monthly reconciliations are done quickly and painlessly, as well as to review all existing financials. You will also have the opportunity to get a feel of operational roles within the team, from handling demand-side (subscribers) to dealing with supply (inventory providers), optimising processes and assisting with other operational projects. In short, you will gain exposure to the behind-the-scenes process of making Flux’s fantastic customer journey happen.
Job Description
- Manage monthly reconciliations (inward/outward payments), breakdown of these payments as well as identifying anomalies and working with other team counterparts to rectify them
- Assist with listing of new vehicles – details, photos, documentation etc
- Review current processes – what can be done better, faster and easier?
- Review existing documentation for clarity, transparency and simplicity
- Assist the Customer Service and Concierge team where necessary to provide an excellent customer experience
Depending on your performance during your internship, you may be considered for a permanent role at the end of the internship tenure.
Job Requirements
- Educational qualifications in Accounting and Finance would be preferable, but not essential
- Good understanding of spoken & written English
- Advanced proficiency in working with large amounts of data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and corresponding Google software, particularly MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Can-do, never-say-die attitude, focus on delivering results and pride in quality of work
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, preferably with an aptitude for understanding data/numbers
- Independent, motivated, well-organised and able to work under strict deadlines
- Where skills are not readily available, a willingness to learn would be useful
- Available for this internship for a duration of 3-6 month(s)
