Job Description

• Leading strategic planning and developing technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with business goals. 
• Working closely with the management team, product manager, and customers to turn technology into business and leading the use of technology profitably. 
• Leading the establishment of technological processes and controls, including security, disaster recovery and business continuity plan. 
• Establish and Monitor KPIs to provide direction and assess performance. 
• Leading and supervising recruitment, training, retention and setting of structures for all technology staff in accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements. 
• Lead by example, develop, test and deploy code that is part of a product used by customers while maintaining a high-quality standard for all aspects of the code
• Keep operations running smoothly, create and coordinate emergency plans, establish first points of contact and organize post-mortem learning sessions
• Enable the team to incrementally deliver production results faster, highlights process bottlenecks and automation potential to optimize the teams' productivity
• Foster and environment of knowledge sharing, identify knowledge gaps and silos, conflicts in the team and take full ownership of the well-being and morale of the team

Job Requirements

• Fluent in fundamental computer science concepts, from design patterns, over database design principles and frontend technologies to scalable systems 
• Knows when to apply the latest developments in architectural patterns and technologies, specifically in open-source and across frontend and backend
• A team player that excels in motivating engineers, unlock their potential, provide performance reviews and develop their careers
• Proven experience working in a multinational environment and practicing agile methodologies. 
• Curious, data-driven approach with a relentless attention to details, never satisfied with the results
• Well versed in AWS Products & services to create new solutions. 
• Always up to date with the latest developments in web and app standards and trends. 
• Strong network and participation with the developer community.
