Job Description
As an Accounting Executive , you will : -
- Be responsible for making sure that all payments for merchants, non-merchants, statutory and employees claims are processed in a timely manner.
- Monitor cash balances daily at all accounts, check against upcoming. commitments, make necessary fund transfers to ensure smooth payments.
- Prepare cash flow reports, analyse and highlight areas of concerns and recommend improvements.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation function. In case of discrepancy, investigate and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform journal entries, by making reasonably accurate provisions and accruals, and verifying all accounting entries.
Job Requirements
- Experienced in account receivable, account payable and general ledger are preferred
- Possess a degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience
- Experience working within the e-commerce, start-up, or technology related industry is an added advantage
- Good time management and good communications skills
