Job Description

ESPL is made up of an international group of entrepreneurs, engineers, gamers, and industry specialists with a passion for competitive gaming and a keen eye for innovation. By merging our years of expertise and love for gaming, we can create an Esports Platform that exceeds the expectations of grassroots tournaments and events. With a global footprint of over 16 countries (Asia, Europe, and the Americas), we are now expanding our team in Malaysia. 

Responsibilities: 
  1. Help plan, strategize, and execute marketing campaigns 
  2. Identify and establish relationships with high-impact brand partners to create, plan and implement mutually beneficial B2C marketing campaigns 
  3. Develop and execute a quarterly marketing plan together with the Head of Marketing which is in line with the company objectives 
  4. Conceptualize and execute co-branded campaigns targeted at increasing brand awareness, acquiring new users, and engaging existing ESPL users 
  5. Segment partner and industry segments according to market priorities; develop key strategies for partnership development based on user behavior, industry insights, competitive landscape, product line up, and potential impact 
  6. Establish and manage strategic relationships with partners within the esports environment to maximise revenue and presence globally 
  7. Collaborate with cross-regional business groups and functional areas to deliver high impact partnership projects and maintain strong knowledge of all in-house technology and handle technical discussions leading to successful implementation 
  8. Support the rollout of each quarter’s marketing plan together with the Head of Marketing 
  9. Manage the implementation and monitor the success of each partner and campaigns by tracking, and analyzing campaigns 
  10. Understand user behavior, funnel and retarget for multiple user engagements 
  11. Develop a strong culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration 
  12. Be part of an exciting team defining and refining the brand’s positioning and tone for ESPL globally 

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree 
  2. Minimum of 4 years experience in business development and marketing campaigns 
  3. Proven capability in executing end-to-end campaigns with partners 
  4. Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and scale partnership marketing programs 
  5. A robust understanding of online and offline marketing mix 
  6. Ability to manipulate and reconcile data to generate insights on market performance and trends 
  7. Excellent command of English, both verbal and written communication 
  8. Strong time and project management skills with attention to detail 
  9. Well-developed interpersonal, team building, and relationship management skills 
  10. A start-up attitude - highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial mindset. Not afraid to work independently when required. 
  11. Inquisitive and willing to quickly learn and master new skills 

Plus points: 
  1. Experience in esports or game publishing 
  2. Hobbies include playing competitive mobile/PC games 
  3. Passion in esports and/or competitive video games
