Job Description

• Prepare content and articles for various social media platforms.
• Edit or rewrite existing copy of works as necessary for ongoing projects.
• Stay updated with new advertising trends and techniques as well as what is going on in the industry.
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics, generate ideas for new content and proofread articles before posting.
• Present initial ideas to the team lead which will be developed into workable concepts.
• Understand the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market.
• Responsible for style and format consistency across all projects and communicating with other team members to create the best content possible.
• Willing to take non-design jobs when necessary.
• Other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the managers.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Able to write in a wide range of tone and manner.
• Able to produce articles independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and assist others whenever needed.
• Strict adherence to deadlines.
• Good communication skills and able to work with different people on the team.
• Extreme attention to detail including editing, spelling and grammar.
• Excellent command of either English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin.
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or any relevant degree or certification.
