Job Description
We are looking for an experienced automotive engineer to fill a new position within our group. The position offers prospect for career advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Appoint motorbike dealers as business partners to promote and sell our Extended Warranty program.
- Inspect and approve parts and components for replacement under warranty.
- Prepare costs as guide for claims payment.
- Appoint panel of repair centers to undertake repairs.
- Implement SOP for registration of subscribers, issuance of warranty booklets and ensuring regular maintenance.
- Research and compile information of new make and models before risk acceptance.
- Organise a team of service technicians and marketers to liaise with our panel of repair centers.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or other related engineering qualification.
- Experience in automotive engineering and an aptitude for design, innovation, and analytical reasoning.
- Familiar with automotive repairs, especially motorbikes.
- Knowledge of mechanical and technological aspects of motor vehicles, particularly motorbikes.
- Minimum of three (3) years working experience in the automotive sector, particularly in motorbike repairs.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to help with problem-solving.
- Commitment to keep up to date with design and engineering technology.
- Must have own transport and willing to travel extensively throughout the country.
