Job Description

• Integrate with various APIs and services to collect data to help service customer requests.
• Implement analytics/metrics frameworks to allow monitoring of services and feedback for features/experiments.
• Mine data relevant to business needs and allow them to be efficiently accessed through an API.
• Implement async tasks / jobs that can perform batch reads / updates / data analysis.
• Implement data processing pipelines for realtime data.
• Write well designed, testable code. TDD is a plus!
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews
• Be eager to learn and operate independently.
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
• Create and maintain automated reporting templates, prepare ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Transform large, complex datasets into pragmatic, actionable insights. 
• Leverage data to identify, quantify and influence tangible business gain.
• Ability to see beyond the numbers, be the voice of data when communicating to decision makers, product owners and team leaders.
• Challenge ideas and methods while working together with talented, highly skilled team members, external developers and suppliers.

Job Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Education and experience in Data Science and Distributed Systems or related subject.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerBI.
• Proficient in fundamentals of CS such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems etc
• Programming experience in Javascript/Typescript
• Experience with NLP is a plus.
• Experience with a NoSQL database is a plus.
• Strong fundamentals on testable code, design pattern and engineering best practice best practices.
• Strong technical skills regarding data analysis, machine learning and programming.
• Working knowledge of, Python, Hadoop, SQL, and/or R
• Excellent communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
