Job Description

• Responsible in preparing full set of accounts including accounts receivable & accounts payable, general ledger, preparing related reconciliation, monthly audit schedule, issue payment vouchers, cheque preparation & any other accounting & administrative related work
• To assist on group monthly closing, quarterly forecast and reports, cash flow statement, annual budget and statutory report
• To ensure records and transaction are completely and accurately accounted, and supported by relevant documents
• Ensure accounting records and documents are pr.operly file & labelled for easy retrieval
• To be responsible for vetting thru of staff claims, handling of petty cash & ensuring that client reimbursements are billed on time with completeness
• To ensure compliance with SOX requirement, accounting standards, statutory filing, SST, corporate tax and other legislative requirements
• To liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries & regulatory bodies
• To undertake any other ad-hoc assignments as & when required

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of related working experience preferably in Finance – General/Cost Accounting with basic knowledge of double entry skill
• Good command of written & spoken English is essential
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles with knowledge of Auto count Accounting Software will be an added advantage
• Computer literate with MS Office applications
• Good in co-ordination and follow up task skill, ability to prioritize and meeting tight deadlines and able to work under stress
• Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, committed, meticulous and hardworking person, able to work independently with minimal supervision
