Job Description
Esplanade Avenue Sdn Bhd is looking for a Purchasing Manager who can analyze our current buying system and create the best methods for day-to-day purchasing operations. Please apply today if you are a professional negotiator with prior experience in the distributor and retails industries. Our Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing our purchasing department, establishing buyer targets based on organizational inventory requirements and demand projections for the coming year, and setting career objectives for each purchasing team member.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Collaborate with the brand marketing and operations team to purchase select products that maximize the brands sales and profit results and support the brand identity.
- Identify, forecast, and arrange for seasonal sales of non-replenishment or promotional goods through internal reporting systems.
- Partner with the brands marketing team in the product selection and pricing process to support advertising and event promotions and develop reporting to analyses the sales and profit results. • Assist in finding opportunities for product assortment reviews and preparing any documentation required to facilitate the review process.
- Lead total inventory levels to ensure well-balanced stock coverage.
- Support negotiations and Central organization with 3rd Party Logistics
- Implement 3rd Party Logistics transportation dashboards (e.g., lead time, cost, Estimated Time of Delivery, and On-Time Deliveries)
- Coordinate logistics operations, including customs clearances, shipping arrangements, and documents, deliveries to warehouse and sites, receiving, processing orders, and invoicing in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, ensuring advantageous long-term cost reduction programs, pricing, and payment terms.
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience. • Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges.
- Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment. • Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
