The Opportunity
We are looking for talented engineers of all experience levels to join our Center of Excellence (CoE) based in Kuala Lumpur, be part of more than 1,000 person strong and innovative global Tax Technology and Transformation team within EY that offers the following services to our clients to create a cost-effective tax function:
- SAP HANA or Oracle implementation
- Digital transformation including data migration, transformation and optimisation
- Applications-as-a-service
- Custom technology application development
- Data improvement and analytics
- Emerging technologies including robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, cloud solutions, data lake development and business intelligence innovation
- Tax technology strategy and road mapping
- Tax operating model transformation including current state assessments, process improvement, risk and controls
Job Requirements
Your Key Responsibilities
Depending on your unique skills and ambitions, you could be specializing in one or more of the following client projects:
- Working with business analyst to understand the business processes in detail and identify opportunities for digital transformation where required
- Assisting in the production of leading solutions for data migration, transformation and improvement and analytics
- Developing innovative and quality third-party tax applications
- Automating internal and external operations of multinational tax departments using emerging technologies
- Work in project environment, proactively support team members in various aspects and communicate identified risk to project manager
- Taking ownership of assigned tasks and monitoring them until completion, including documenting technical requirements, implementation, configuration, testing, debugging and deployment
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, Mathematics or related fieYour Passion in technology and its use in business processes
- Your natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work
- Your strong organizational and time management skills
- Your ability to capture and synthesize business requirements
Ideally, You Will Also Have One Or More Of The Following
- Microsoft Office VBA development
- Robotic Process Automation. E.g. UiPath, BluePrism, or Automation Anywhere
- ETL/Data visualization/analytics. E.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx
- Working knowledge with SQL database technologies
- ERP experience. E.g. SAP, Dynamics, PeopleSoft, Workday or Oracle
- Programming experience. E.g. C#, ASP.Net, C++, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python, or any web related platform
- SharePoint development
