Job Description

• Able to develop system in VB6, managing and performed SIT and assist and support UAT in WOLOC eCitrix system for BAU enhancement that is related to Maybank Islamic project and enhancement. The contractor agency must be a senior programmer and well verse in Visual Basic 6, UNIX Pro*C programming and Oracle PL/SQL. 
• Able to design and develop these applications and able to co-ordinate with the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. 
• A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and product quality is essential. 
• preparing technical specifications on minor enhancements/projects. 
• immediate rectification of all problems encountered during user SIT/acceptance testing. 

Job Requirements

1. Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications 
2. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable VB6 Code 
3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsive of the applications. 
4. Identify the bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solution to these problem 
5. Help maintain code quality, organization and automation 
6. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications 
7. Write well designed, testable and efficient code.  
8. knowledgeable on Oracle work frame and SQL tuning 
9. Proficient in Visual Basic 6, with good knowledge of its ecosystem. 
10. Solid understanding of the object-oriented programming 
11. Familiar with various design and architectural patterns 
12. Skill for writing reusable Visual Basic 6 module and class 
13. Experience with both external and embedded databases 
14. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes 
15. Basic understanding of VB6, its limitations, weakness and workarounds
