Job Description
Perform SUN/ Linux system administration for Banks Unix / Linux servers to ensure system is always available and running healthy. The job scope covers (but not limited to) are hardware, software and operating system installation, OS configuration, OS patching. System logs analysis, system troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Build and install new UNIX Solaris/ Linux systems.
- UNIX Solaris/ Linux systems configuration changes and upgrades.
- Identify and potential opportunities for further improvement/ system enhancement.
- Prevent system outages
- Checks on System health
- Meeting prescribed SLA
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science/IT or a related discipline
- Min 5+ years of experience as Linux administrator with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- System Integrator experience is an advantage
- Good planning skills and improves executions
- Team player with ability to lead a team and strong communication skills
