Job Description
- Understanding the present OEL, OVM systems and setup.
- Fine tuning of the new OEL, OVM servers and software release.
- Troubleshooting of OEL VMs for day to day issues like CPU, Memory usage.
- Building new OEL VMs, migrate VMs between server pools
- Patching of VM and OVS
- Integrating the OEL software with VMware, RHEL7, Solaris and fixing issues.
- Testing the client interface through various T3, T2 troubleshooting commands.
- Fixing bugs raised during System validation testing (SVT) of the above.
- Configuration of yum repository for servers
Job Requirements
- Should have good knowledge on OEL, OVM, Linux including system administrator roles and responsibilities.
- Should have knowledge of OVM, OEL and data centre architecture.
- Should have general understanding of alarms, patches, patch bundles and the interface between all subsystems of client systems and environments.
- Should be able to work with VM, OVS using OVM manager
