Job Description
The Lead Business Analyst – Functional SME, will carry the ownership of identifying business objectives, work with customers to define business process changes by producing requirement and functional design documents & supporting execution of integration tests, including monitoring software incidents and communicating software issues & tracked to the closure.
Job Requirements
- Extensive and demonstrable experience (at least 8 years + in the Asia Pac Insurance industry)
- Excellent business and domain knowledge of the Life & Annuity Insurance industry, especially in Policy Admin Implementations, Billing, Group Life & Distribution Management
- Working with customers to define configuration requirements, and developing an overall configuration approach for the client
- Well aware of requirement management methodologies and tools used for requirement tracking
- Experienced in preparing detailed functional requirement documents
- Able to estimate effort for system configuration
- Identifying opportunities to meet customer business objectives using business logic and configuring applications to meet those objectives
- Functional consulting experience
- Team management experience
- Experience gathering requirements, understanding Life Insurance product specifications and designing business process flows
- Experienced in functional testing to ensure correct requirements being delivered to customer
- Aware of at least one database technology (Oracle/SQL Server)
- Experience on Life, health, Annuity or supporting those productt
- Experience working in software companies building software in above areas for 5-10 years
- LOMA Certifications
