Job Description

• Prepare technical specifications on minor enhancements/projects.
• Program coding, unit testing, integrated testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Immediate rectification of all problems encountered during user SIT/acceptance testing.
• Ensure programs are migrated to acceptance environment upon completion of integrated testing.
• Ensure thorough testing being done during unit testing and SIT
• Attend to users’ queries on the projects/enhancements.
• Prepare up-to-date source code migration template

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 year experiences in software development and coding especially in COBOL.
• Experience in other programming languages such as PL1 and Assembler will be an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Excellent knowledge COBOL (online and batch programs), CICS, IDMS, JCL
• Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance principles
• A technical mindset with great attention to details
• Outstanding communication and able to work independently with very minimal guidance
• At least a degree qualification either in computer science, engineering or relevant field
