About The Job

Entrepreneur Selection Responsibilities 

  • Proactively screen potential high-impact entrepreneurs running high-growth SMEs and deemed to have strong growth potential 
  • Leverage Endeavor’s network of business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, academics and journalists to “nominate” potential candidates, as well as move them through the selection process 
  • Assess the candidates’ growth potential, critical challenges, and the entrepreneurial capacity of the team 
  • Prepare company profiles for all candidates, analysing business models, innovation, growth potential and management team 
  • Assist in the final preparation of candidates for Local Selection Panels and International Selection Panels 
  • Keep up-to-date statistics on Endeavor’s Selection Process that will be used to monitor and track the pipeline of potential entrepreneur candidates 
Entrepreneur Growth Responsibilities

  • Be held accountable for each entrepreneur’s growth, being able to critically assess how Endeavor can help them 
  • Support all aspects of services given to entrepreneurs including advisory boards and mentorship sessions with advisors and investors 
  • Work with Endeavor’s New York Headquarters and local offices to provide selected entrepreneurs with additional support and resources from Endeavor’s global network 
  • Support Endeavor’s global programs (talent, access to capital, networking events) at a local level to best support Endeavor Entrepreneurs 
  • Work with a wide portfolio of entrepreneurs across multiple industries

Job Requirements

Ideal Candidate

  1. Bachelor’s degree, with 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience (strategy, consulting, operations, business development, corporate development, other entrepreneur-support organisations) 
  2. Relevant experience in writing and/or account management is an added plus 
  3. Highly passionate about entrepreneurship and building entrepreneurial ecosystems 
  4. Good business judgment: strong ability to identify and evaluate entrepreneurs and companies 
  5. Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, work ethics, with great interpersonal skills and team workability 
  6. Entrepreneurial personality and capacity to achieve significant results with limited resources and being able to balance multiple priorities 
  7. Excellent English language skills, both written and oral. 
  8. Strong computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce)
