Job Description

• Implementing website and network maintenance, installing and upgrading software, ensuring systems security and troubleshooting computer issues throughout the organization
• Website and software application, designing and maintaining.
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications and digital media.
• Oversee website system facilitation, current system enhancements
• Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery
• Manage internal/external application upgrades.
• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
• Attend to support IT issues such as troubleshooting computer software/hardware
• Maintaining the organisation’s networks
• Establishes Web system specifications by analysing access, information, and security requirements.
• Installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and applications problems
• Substantial knowledge and experience in programming applications.
• Technical knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS or other JavaScript/Programming language.
• Experience in an e-commerce marketplace is preferable.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of technology products and services.
• Manage multiple areas of technology and various departments.
• Oversee new system facilitation, current system enhancements.
• Manage internal/external application upgrades.
• Define and improve all system and network operations processes.
• Manage ad-hoc task IT-related tasks if required. 

Job Requirements

• Candidate must be a Malaysian citizen.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably specialised in E-commerce /retail industry or equivalent.
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience.
• Website Technician must be familiar with Nginx, MariaDB/ PostgreSQL database, DNS, PHP, WordPress and monitoring tools, Virtuozzo platform (Virtuozzo / Azure / AWS) is essential.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Wordpress.
• Able to solve complex problems.
• Hardworking, committed, able to work independently and result-oriented.
