Job Description

• Collaborate with a team of developers and product owners on JavaScript and web development
• Deliver modern, testable and maintainable code
• Develop features in website projects, using current web technologies including for example JavaScript / ES6, HTML5, CSS3, and Vue.js
• Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring for other developers in your team

Job Requirements

• 5 years’ experience of Vue.js web development
• Knowledge of modern and standards-compliant JavaScript development, i.e. ES6 and above
• Current web technologies including JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and tools like Webpack
• Web sockets, WebRTC, RTMP, PWA, service workers, state management and web storage technologies
• Responsive design practices, delivered cleanly and consistently across a wide variety of platforms, browsers and devices

•  A good taste of UI, UX, & layout aesthetics for mobile & web design
• Natural focus on high standards, quality, testing and unit testing, and tools like Karma, Jasmine and/or Jest
• Previous work experience interacting with APIs through AJAX/JSON
• Familiarity with, or interest in, automated testing, continuous integration, and cloud deployment
• Experience with high-performance web delivery, optimizing front-end code, page-load performance and caching
• Prior experience in implementation/integration of live-streaming technologies is a strong plus
