Resource Manager (Based in Malaysia)

Objectives of the Position: 
  • Coordinate with business units to clarify recruitment requirements relating to Chinese to English, & English into SEA languages for various verticals 
  • Execute the recruitment process 
  • Realize high quality and efficient recruiting standard 
  • Linguistic market intelligence gathering and analysis 
  • Provide instant support for internal sales and production team 

Task designation:

Recruitment Execution
  • Work closely with senior resource manager to clarify recruiting requisitions and ensure that all the recruitment processes are conducted efficiently to meet assigned KPIs, and in accordance with company policies and standards. 
  • Be the owner of full life cycle of freelancer and vendor recruiting, i.e. hiring requisition clarification, appropriate channel selection, advertisement posting, proactively search, contact and negotiation with freelance translators worldwide, test translation & evaluation process execution, contract signing etc. 
  • Take initiatives to communicate with senior managers about the recruiting status, provide complete and transparent analysis of recruiting status. 
  • Recruitment material documentation. 

Talent and market intelligence
  • Initiatively support senior resource manager and business units to collect talent market intelligence. 

Report & Analysis 
  • Maintain and update recruiting related reports on weekly basis. 
  • Recruitment data analysis for continuous improvement. 

Support recruitment events and localization projects 
  • Involve in recruitment events, including but not limited to job fairs and industry conference. 
  • Support localization projects as needed, including but not limited to recommending & coordinating linguists, providing CVs etc. 
  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • More than 3 years’ experience in localization vendor management
  • Hard working, self-motivation, and work under pressure
  • Proactive attitude, good follow-up and result oriented
  • Strong influencing, interaction, communication skills
  • Team spirit
  • Fluent English & Malay in both writing and speaking while Mandarin is a big plus
