Job Description

Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​
To summarise this role, you will be working on the following:
  • Bringing in new opportunities from new customers
  • Following up and qualifying opportunities
  • Educate BD team on market trends, user insights and competitive analysis relevant to eCommerce and supply chain industries
  • Collaborate with the Relationship Manager on details of future opportunities (Client account planning and opportunity roadmap)

What are you accountable for?
  • Develop and formulate strategic and tactical sales plans to attract relevant client profiles and ensure that Team KPI and goals are met
  • Build Dropee’s market position by identifying potential business deals and closing relationship with new customers
  • Provide and screen data/information for potential business deals by analyzing market strategy, examining risks and financial accuracy for business decision making
  • Protect Dropee’s value by keeping company projects and tender information confidential
  • Ensure sales pipeline in CRM is diligently updated – consistently putting new opportunities week on week AND progressing the opportunity sales motion from creation to closing
  • Develop comprehensive opportunity and pricing plans for all assigned customers
  • Orchestrate communication and collaboration between cross functional Dropee team and customers
  • Accountable on driving assigned sales opportunities to closure with a close plan
  • Keeping track of all post-sales activities with timely delivery of the technology solution

Job Requirements

What do you need for this role?
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree, in any field
  • Relevant experience in selling technology solutions
  • Excellent sales performance track record
  • Previous experience in a high-performing team/company is an added advantage
  • Personal traits: Driven, Resourceful, Optimistic, Passionate, Empathy, Elevate, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced and challenging team environment
