We are looking for an energetic team leader who is passionate to help people solving their problems, has a customer-first mindset with good leadership skills to spearhead our current 7-member strong loan consultant team. What will you be doing?

Set daily, weekly and monthly targets for team members; coach, support and motivate them to achieve goals
Proactively seek to understand customers needs and feedbacks; constantly recognize opportunities to improve our solutions and service level
Handle incoming prospective customers’ enquiries, building rapport, learning their needs and recommend the right personal financing products that are most suitable to their requirements
Follow up and ensure remarkable borrowing experience for all customers throughout the loan application process
Problem solving. Take ownership by gathering information, evidence and data to diagnose and resolve problems, support team members in problem solving.
Team building - train and coach members especially new members by providing knowledge, advice and support
Assist in any marketing and brand awareness campaigns

We believe every hardworking adult deserves to have access to safe and affordable borrowing

But for many of us, the reality is contrary. According to the World Bank Report on Financial Inclusion in Malaysia (May 2017), only 25% of the adult population, and 15% in the B40 group, has formal bank borrowing.

For borrowers who are declined by formal banking channels, their current financing options are just not good enough. Many loan scammers or unscrupulous money lenders are readily to take advantage of their vulnerabilities. These are all well documented.

We started Direct Lending to change this, making safe and affordable loan accessible to every hardworking adult at anytime, anywhere; helping them to address their needs or to fulfil their dreams.

Direct Lending is an online personal lending platform, enabling borrowers to find, apply and receive financing that best suits them in a safe and affordable manner. There are currently over 20 financing providers on the platform.

In 2021, Direct Lending has been granted credit community (moneylending) license from Ministry of Housing and Local Government which gives us more flexibility in providing financing solutions to our customers.

We recently launched our first embedded financing project by providing auto service financing which enable car owners to obtain financing to pay for their essential car repairs at workshop, with a few more projects to be launched in the coming months.

Direct Lending is a recipient of Cradle CIP300 funding in 2019 and graduated from Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre's (MaGIC) Global Accelerator Programme in 2017.

Direct Lending started from a 2-man team in October 2016 to now a team of over 20 finance, credit, marketing, technology and product professionals. Since incorporation, we have achieved over 100% CAGR growth in our loan disbursed value and is operational profitable.
