• Adaptable and fast. You’re able to quickly learn a new tool to get the job done based on the requirements.
• You have a firm grasp of Javascript (ES6+ Syntax) and TypeScript, Node.js with Express.
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle. Android Studio, IntelliJ.
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest and Mocha
• You have experience writing SQL.
• You’re obsessed with quality and you automate your testing with unit and integration tests.
• Understand design patterns and implement the right one depending on the need
• Able to understand and debug large and complex code bases
• Put scale as a criteria when making decisions in development
• Experience with Git version control
• Experience in cloud platforms like AWS is an added advantage
• You can articulate and break down complex problems into simple solutions

Job Requirements

1. Follow through initiatives set
2. Prepare monthly plans on the operational issues to be fixed
3. Solve operational issues permanently
4. Taking part in discussions with Product Managers to understand requirements and business demands
5. Writing feature and unit tests for features / capabilities that come in the form of requirements
6. Enforce code review and tests from developers
7. Providing recommendations to business stakeholders and development team on deliverables and timelines
8. Perform a DevOps role, supporting developer operations remotely and occasionally on premise to solve problems
