Job Description
- Conceptualizing original creative website ideas with the Directors that bring simplicity and user-friendliness.
- Performing visual design stage by stage from concept to final.
- Testing and improving the design of the company’s websites.
- Designing visual imagery for the company’s websites and ensuring that they are in line with company branding.
- Working with the content management system, especially WordPress.
- Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flow, site maps, and wireframes.
- Incorporating creative functions and features into websites.
- Designing test pages including colors, fonts, etc.
- Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure to the Directors.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Contribute to innovating on and building features for our webpages, homepages, and e-commerce sites.
- Work closely with the Director and IT members to ensure effective development of the company’s websites.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field for web designing, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 - 4 years of work experience as a Web Designer or UI/UX Designer.
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
- Experience in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
- Good understanding of content management systems, especially WordPress.
- Good understanding of search engine optimization principle (SEO).
- Good visual design skills.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Up to date experience with web protocols, standards, and technologies.
- Creative and open to new ideas.
- Willing to learn new skills and techniques.
- Good communication skills.
